Al and his team are phenomenal. We had a crack in the pool, needed resurfacing and new tiles. Al was always super... responsive and walked us through everything they were doing and completed the job very quickly and efficiently. He continued to follow up after he was done too to ensure we were taking care of it properly and maintaining the right ph and chlorine levels. Al and his team completed our pool resurfacing and reno project about a year ago and we are still extremely pleased... with the work that was done. He professionally brought our 60+ year old pool back to life. Prior to renovating we had leaks, major surface issues, a broken light, and circulation problems. We were constantly fighting algae. Al brought in the right people to tackle each aspect of the job. In addition to resurfacing, a skimmer and all new plumbing was installed with minimal deck patching. Al understood our needs, vision, and budget; and, produced great results. Since completing the project, maintenance has been a breeze. Scumbags! This com0any cleaned their boots with concrete on our lawn before starting the work and threw concrete... everywhere. Even after we gave them a trash bag, they still did that. Why didn't they clean their boots at home before they come? It's very unprofessional and disrespecting to my home. They also digged hole in our brand new landscaping to dump acid in it. And they argue its by law. Ridiculous! The waterfall of pur spa do not work properly any more after their job. The owner threatened us not to give us further instruction to finish the job and to sue us unless we pay him in full amount. Stay away from this company! And we will definitely file complaint to BBB!read more

I am reposting, as my husband's review somehow didn't make it on to the reviews.We used Atlantis Pool Service to... resurface our 20 year old swimming pool. Al is without a doubt the best contractor we have ever worked with in 20 years, and that is for all of our house upgrades. He is the most responsive contractor as well. Nearly every one of our phone calls or texts were answered within seconds to minutes. We had a less than stellar experience with our pool pavers that were done at the same time by a different company. And through it all, Al was very willing to contact them to co-ordinate the 2 projects, but it wasn't the other way around.The quality of the job is evident. The first four pictures are before, and the last 6 with the darker color pebble finish are after. We were completely satisfied with the end result and would definitely recommend Atlantis Pool Service for a pool resurfacing project.read more

Ok lets start by saying that they took forever to get the job done, more than 4 weeks we had a pump making noise all... that time it was annoying. We keep asking when they are coming to get the job done they just say tomorrow, this afternoon week after week until they finally came like around 3 pm knowing that the days are short.. so they star working I though they were coming the next day to finish the work since it was dark and it was hard to see but no they say they were done. So I went so see how it was next day they leave trash all over they did not clean the area the tiles had plaster the pool had lots of dry plaster . The pool have white stains My guess is that they putted the acid directly instead of water first. I don’t know why they did a good job to others and we had a very bad experience with them .read more

Our pool renovation project was quite extensive. Our pool was 20 years old with missing tile and a surface that was... deteriorating. It needed a complete overhaul. I contracted Atlantis Pool Service - Al Marrero for the project and his company did excellent work restoring it back to a new condition. We installed a new electric heater, automated the entire system and got our spa back on line without the old propane system. Al provided responsive service and was diligent in solving some of the issues we had. If you are looking for a great pool renovation, look no further. I did my homework in researching different companies... and I chose Atlantis Pools. I definitely made the right decision. Al is amazing to work with. Please notice I said “is” and not “was” because he is not just there until the job is completed but continues to answer questions and assist after. He responds immediately to text messages and phone calls. This was a big job with almost 1200 sq ft of pavers, new tile and pool resurface. It also involved new lights and some new equipment. Getting materials and lining up good skilled labor is certainly not a breeze but Al did it! I’m very grateful for the beautiful job he did and continues to do. We recently purchased a house in Orlando with a pool badly in need of re-surfacing. We chose Atlantis Pool Service to... do the work. Atlantis was our pick because it isn’t a huge company with multiple jobs in progress at a time and so could provide better customer service. As it turned out that was more important than we’d realized. Our choice of a darker pool surface material had very limited availability and was back-ordered at local distributors. Al Marrero at Atlantis kept in contact with us with updates on the status and worked to find a suitable alternative material. He found one, and just enough of the product was available for his crew to complete the work. The finished result looks wonderful, like we have a new pool!read more

We had Atlantis Pools resurface our pool, and replace and add tile. Al was always very responsive, super helpful,... answered all of my (many) questions, and even brought samples by the house because we had some old bullnose tile we were trying to determine whether to replace or not.We talked to multiple companies but Al was the most responsive and his pricing was fair and within our budget. The quality of work was great. He gives instructions on post-resurfacing care too and is only a phone call away if you have questions. The crew was fast and efficient, and our pool looks amazing.After living with a pool that was falling apart for many years, we love swimming in the new pool and enjoy having people over again. I met Al from Atlantis pool service because he was sub-contracted by our solar panel installation company to replace... our pool pump. I’m so glad I did. He told us about a system he could install that could control all our pool equipment easily from an app or website. Eventually I contacted him again and he installed it and we are so happy with it. And even after some of the cables got damaged he promptly tracked down the part and repaired it for us. In addition, I could tell that he cares about his customer. I can see why Al has a 5 star rating. We had our pool resurfaced and new tile installed around the perimeter. Each crew did excellent work and kept our pool... area very clean after the work was done. The prep crew drained the water and removed the tile and hauled it away without damaging the pool deck. The tiling was done next. Then the plaster and new light installed. The next day an acid wash was done and after refilling the pool chemicals added. The elapsed time for all of this was about a week. We’re extremely pleased with the way it turned out. It was a pleasure working with Al from estimate to completion.read more

Al was amazing to work with on my pool resurface! He offered great expertise on the process and had wonderful... communication from point of contact to after job was complete. Once I chose my aqua glass tile and Miami Blue surface, Al said his team could start the following Monday! He delivered on that promise and the entire resurface was done in less than a week. His team did a phenomenal job as well, paid attention to detail, worked efficiently and cleaned up their mess each day.
